Club Reports: Luna Bar, Elixir Bar, Iron Cow

Opening night last night for the new Luna Bar located on Magnolia Avenue across from Celine.
Upon stepping inside, you’re greeting by this lighted LUNA sign. The venue is located where “The Magnolia” and “On The Rocks” were previously located.
At the far end downstairs we found DJ Feenixinthemix (USA) from iHeart Radio in the booth. The music was mostly Hip Hop, Reggaeton and Top 40.
Also downstairs is this long bar that covers much of the length of the venue.
And to one side, this hookah area.
At the very front of the club you’ll notice that there’s an upstairs up there.
Up here you’ll find a second bar.
And a large seating area. Luna’s niche will be to serve both craft cocktails and local beers. The place has been beautifully redone after being shuttered for several years.
While we try to spread-out our business downtown to help keep you informed, we keep ending-up at Elixir Bar because so many great DJ’s keep getting booked here!
When we arrived to Elixir‘s famous outdoor dance patio, DJ Flashdrive (USA) was in the booth playing a mix of both vocal and non-vocal House.
Not as busy as we often see but hardly empty either.
As midnight approached, the crowd slowly drifted forward.
And then at 12, last night’s headliner arrived and was plugging-in.
DJ Tal Fussman (IL/D)
He would continue with a mostly House set.
Tal Fussman is originally from Israel but is now based in Berlin.

Upcoming shows at Elixir include DJ Cristoph (GB) tomorrow night. DJ Zerb (BR), duo Eli & Fur (GB) and trio Mason Collective (GB) all play here in February!
We also can’t stay away from Iron Cow, another venue with so many great DJ’s playing.
Arriving close to 1AM, DJ Mighty Shari (USA) had just turned the controls over to last night’s headliner.

Spotted in VIP: DJ NvS (USA), (insert name), DJ Mathew Scot (USA) and DJ Ethan McCain (USA). NvS & Ethan team-up on NYE for a special Tuesday night show at Morse Code in downtown Winter Park.
Spotted on stage: Leticia. You can never go wrong with Go Go girls.
Around 1:30AM resident DJ Mathew Scot joined in the fun.
House music all night long.
